Winter is golf season in the Coachella Valley. From roughly November through April the weather does what a golf trip wants it to do: cool mornings, warm afternoons, and very little rain. Groups have been building annual desert trips around that window for decades, and the routine holds up.
La Quinta anchors most of the golf trips we host. Homes near PGA West keep everyone close to the golf, and Indian Wells draws its share of groups as well. A vacation home beats a block of hotel rooms for this kind of trip: real bedrooms so nobody sleeps on a rollaway, a kitchen for early breakfasts before the round, a pool for the afternoon, and a patio for settling the day's bets.
